Recently weather conditions in Cardiff dampened party goers spirits. After experiencing the Beast from the East we now have another weekend of snow promised. This may not affect Cardiff

directly but parts of the valleys and other parts of Wales will definitely be affected.

Since Christmas the weather has caused several problems with heating systems, pipes and boilers all over Cardiff. There were hundreds of thousands of boiler breakdowns throughout the UK and several homes left without heating in these terrible conditions.

Homeless charities all over Cardiff offer amazing services in these cold times. A lot of them urge those living on the streets to make the most of these services available to them ahead of the worsening weather conditions due to hit so many of us. Food, heat and accommodation is available for people, and no-one needs to sleep outside in this weather. Cold Weather Provision has been in operation across the city for a number of months and churches in Cardiff have opened their doors for people to sleep at night in addition to the hostel places available with our organisation and other charities and agencies.
